Paul.
This along with all the other emails have been made available to all relevant bodies, persons and the world at large.
I will continue to let others speak for themselves. I at all times acted upon the directions of our team and have many emails confirming this.
I am so pleased that your communications will stop and will let Chula know this but of course the communications received so far are Unacceptable and will be treated and dealt with by her as such.
For your information I stood down as Captain of Don’t Tell Mama and Pattaya Darts on Saturday 8th December 2012 and advised the team accordingly. This was on the basis that I feel the current regime at Pattaya Darts to be Unacceptable. I stood down because I felt it important not to distract the team from playing darts and it would allow me to do the things I need and want to do. I am led to believe that Don’t Tell Mama and some or all its players have made some decisions but I think it only fair that they communicate this to you and Pattaya Darts.

Jim,
You just don’t stop do you, firstly Jim, there were no threats and never have been from me, other than the fact that I have requested you to stop causing problems or I will wash my hands of it and let everyone follow their own course of action towards you which, I will state again, as you seem to have some difficulty in grasping the situation you cause, stop what you are doing, remove your rants, you are causing too many problems with too many people.
That is aimed at YOU Jim, just in case you don’t see that, it is not aimed at anyone else and never has been. Can I state, under no circumstances have the Team at Don’t Tell Mama Bar or Don’t Tell Mama Bar been threatened or even implicated in any of this, from what I have heard and dealt with so far, everything is aimed at YOU as an individual, please don’t try and drag other people into your problems, problems created by you in the first place. So far, I have continually done my utmost to keep everyone out of your mental issues!
I will not be party to your pathetic games, you, will be receiving no further correspondence from me, apart from the fact that it is pointless because you don’t understand it, you just try and use it for your own pleasure, trying to drag others into your mixed up life!

Thank you for your comments – I fully understand your threats as do all the attendees of the bar – this as you would expect has been passed to my solicitor Chula who is deciding what legal action should be pursued against you personally and the league as you state you act on their behalf.
I would commend you to think carefully before you threaten Dont Tell Mama it’s business and its owner Linda who is adored by all it’s attendees . The picture you see of a very handsome policeman in her bar is of her brother who adores her as she does him. He would be very distressed to believe people, especially farang, would threaten her bar. He is a Full Colonel, they used to be called Colonel Generals and is based in the Bangkok police one away from a Brigadier General and then only two away from the highest ranking police officer in the whole of Thailand’s police force. He used to be a Senior Officer in Pattaya. As I am sure you are aware family is number 1, number 2, number 3, number 4, number 5, and number 6 in Thailand, to their credit and the giving of merit and reciprocity is the foundation of their culture.
It is likely that you and anybody who decides to behave improperly will receive communications from various agencies over the next few days and weeks which may include, the Press, Thailand Darts, Thai Police, Immigration etc as they have all been made privy to all the communications from you.
I really would commend you to adopt a different attitude and to rethink your tactics because I think you are damaging yourself but more importantly damaging Pattaya Darts irretrievably.
Cheers
jim

Jim,
You are going far, far too far with this I now see you have set up a number of Blog Sites with statements on them such as below:

You have totally ignored the facts in your rants, you are selective with quotes in stupid attempts to justify yourself. The facts have always been stated by me, over and over again, in numerous attempts to explain things, all to no avail.
You have managed, so far, to throw unfounded accusations about, aimed at individuals, bars, Leagues and Businesses, all of them proved to be un-justified. Not once have you even attempted to accept your mistakes and apologise like a man, you must think they will go away or something! Let me make it very, very clear for you Jim, all you are doing is making enemies and creating bad vibes for yourself, your Team, the Bar, The Leagues, and Businesses, there is obviously something mentally wrong with you, I trust you realise the very dangerous situation you are putting yourself and others in?
Now you have decided to attack me personally and openly, even though I can only administer things in the way the Members instruct me to, by the Rules, I will no longer be covering for you with all of the complaints I have received about you and dealt with, I will now be passing on your contact details together with any other details requested, lets see how you get on dealing with the people you have insulted, all past and future correspondence will be freely available to all unless, you cease this immediately and remove your rants within 24 hours.
The choice is yours Jim but, believe me, you need an amicable outcome to this and can I suggest you decide to instigate it fast!

Hey Jimj Saturday, 8 December 2012, 3:52I am not sure we can ever solve this.
I see that we loose to Jantha ands Paul say that it was never explained to Her or any other team members that the extra players would not count.
THAT I THINK IS SO F…… UNFAIR, as I know it was explained.
Cheers S….
S. Jantha/Jantha bar is a major sponsor of Pattaya Darts. What Jantha wants Jantha gets.
But darts to me, is no longerwhat it used to be

Jim,
Having now had a chance to look into this further, we are going to assume that your Official Written Warning sent yesterday, may have been a little late for you to have read so, we are going to give you the benefit of the doubt!
I am not going to go into this one at length but, I am pleased to see that you now understand that it is supposed to be a fun game of darts, now we just need to get you to put that into practice! Once again, the Rules stipulate that you must accept given Players, that way everyone gets a game, it does not say anywhere though that you can “invoke the right to not have the scores of the given players in the score for the night”. You can discuss that option with the other Captain / Bar Owner and then agree to show that on the Score Sheet with a line above the ones that you two have agreed to not count but, it is obviously advisable and in the best interests of the night to; just put scores up on the board, without any indications that, it is pointless you playing!
The Committees decision on this match is that; as it was not discussed and agreed, like adults, prior to the games but rather, you dictating what was going to happen in your usual bullish fashion, all scores will count and the match will be scored 7-8 in favour of Jantha Coffee House.
We are never happy when any Team decides to walk out of a bar, for whatever reason but, the Beer Leg will be scored in Don’t Tell Mama favour because, Jantha Coffee House left.
Had you discussed and agreed in an adult like manner, you could of confirmed that the Rules state that; when giving, only eight players count but still play all Players and then eight Players in the Beer Leg, as per the Rules, everyone might have been happier then and had a fun night, you on the other hand decided to deal with things in your own way, name names of pointless games and by the looks of things, almost starting a mini riot, that is not how the game should be played or for that matter, a fun night.
You have now played only two matches but, managed to cause problems in three different bars, please try and reconsider your approach and try and have a fun night of darts in the future.

Just to clarify it for you one more time; the object of the giving rule is to make sure that Players who turn up for a game of darts, get a game of darts.
I have enclosed a copy of the Rules for you to look at but, it was explained in the End of Season Meeting, for example that; if say you tuned up with six players and the other team has say ten Players then four of the Players names would be put in a hat and drawn to make it fair and then you would play eight on each team.
However, it was also explained that if a team was not happy with the receiving of Players on their Team then they would still play them to make sure that they get a game but, draw a line under the six Players so that I know that only those scores count. So, for example, that would be six singles games then a line then, two singles games then, three doubles games then a line then, a doubles game with the extra players. As far as the Beer Leg goes, you can play any players, providing it is the same amount as in the singles matches on the sheet, in this case, eight a side.

I enclose the results sheet for the evening of 6.12.2012 DTM v Jantha
Another pretty unenjoyable evening.
Jantha arrived and said initially she had 11 players and then revised that to 12, no problem. I advised her of our position on this . We do not concur with the compulsory giving rule and have forcefully voiced our opinion on this to the league. Whilst having at this point to accept players we invoke the right to not have the scores of the given players in the score for the night in both the singles and the doubles although accepting that we would, reluctantly, have to count their scores in the beer leg. She said she understood.
On the basis of this I said she could select whoever she liked to play. She chose her daughter who does not play competitive darts and another lady of lesser ability. I reconfirmed their scores in the singles and doubles would not count. She chose not to advise her team of the conditions under which the two players from her team were playing.
The draw was done and the players put up accordingly. The two players from Jantha were asterixed on the board.
After the singles the score was 5/3 to dont tell mama without the two losing games of their compulsory players. The score was displayed prominently for everybody to see. Some of their players asked why not 5/5 and objected to the score. Jantha had not told them and and made no attempt to tell them of the fact that the two players scores, compulsorily given, would not count in the singles or the doubles. It was left to my team to explain the situation to her team. I personally think this is unacceptable. The draw was done for the doubles and the two players from Jantha bar were put together. It was noted for all to see that their scores did not count. they duly lost and the score without them was 2/2. The score was put up 7/5 to dont tell mama. Players then persistently came up and objected to the score en masse and required it to be changed. Jantha at no time advised her team of the rules. Just before the beer leg Jantha also came up and objected and claimed the game on the basis that she had brought 12 +people to the bar and that our bar had received income and therefore Jantha should be given the game. Two of their players said the game should be decided on the beer leg. My team refused to accept their demands and they decided therefore as they could not win the game that they would not play the beerleg and left shortly after.
This is certainly not fun or sportsmanlike and Steen and I in our 30+ years of darts have never seen anything like it in any league anywhere in the world. Such controversy will always happen with a rule that only benefits one team and is compulsorily driven in what is supposed to be a fun game of darts.
cheers

Can you imagine this in football a team turns up with more players than the other side and requires them to play the oppositions goalkeeper and centre forward. The same nonsense applies to pool, badminton, squash, golf and any other sport which requires motivated players to play for one team versus another team. Only in Thailand.

Paul, Pattaya Darts League Teams and The Committee,
I am sure just a minor oversight but I think that EVERYBODY would want to understand the background and supporting evidence for our complaint about boat/ar I am not sure which if either is the alias.
I was directed by my team to make a formal complaint. If it is deemed necessary to take sanctions against me so be it but I will always act in the best interest of my team whatever the outcome.
We had already had during the season three Thursday League Div. 1 players request to play for us on a night their team was on a bye. Two of them, to their credit, on being advised of the rules had no problem and stayed for the night and we enjoyed each others company but they did not play for us. Unfortunately one, on another night, believed he had a right to play and when advised of the rules said I will put another name on the sheet which is normal practice. I advised him that while I was Captain nobody in similar circumstances would be allowed to play outside the rules of the league unless and until I was advised that it is common and accepted practice to let people play outside the rules. The person concerned attempted to engender support within the bar but each member of the team, who was their, confirmed their agreement and support with my position and the player then left.
We played nervous wreck and met an outstanding player AR who whipped my arse in the singles and whipped two of our best players in the doubles and that playing with one of their lesser players. I immediately congratulated David after the game ( the person who finances the bar). I advised him I was so impressed with AR and that he was one of the best players I had seen and was so surprised that they had not done better this season with him in the team.
David advised me, while other members of my team were around me, that AR was related to his wife, a motorcycle taxi driver and needed to earn a living so essentially played the home games and not the away games.
Afterwards David went to talk to other members of the teams. A member of the team said AR also plays on Thursday for another team and pointed out one other person, on that night, who he alleged also plays for dual teams on Thursday. Without any clear evidence at that point I decided to sit on it until such time as there was substantive support for the dual claim. With regard to the second player I have no evidence to support the claim of the second player with dual membership and make no allegations at all in any way at this point with regard to the second player.
We arrived at VIP house bar/Buffalo Jacks for our first game of the season. We checked to see how many players they had and initially they said 9 and then changed that to ten. We had six which met the criteria for a team. They advised us that they wanted us to take players. I advised them that while we were all totally against the compulsory taking of players and had voiced our position vociferously to Paul it was currently to no avail. I stated to their team that whilst it was in the rules with no opt out option we would obey the rules. There are no opt out options in the rules as they currently stand.
Their Captain went through the proper procedure for identifying the compulsory players and nuch nee Double Dutch, a good player and boat, an outstanding player, were appointed as our players for the night. Neither made any attempt to integrate with our team and be part of the fun which is what darts is all about. My players were disgruntled at this stage because like me they had identified boat and one other as players who had played for another team and I do not mean Double Dutch. I advised my team at that point we needed far more than that to take it further.
Nuch, wishing to be generous to her, played in the singles, doubles and beer round for us without enthusiasm and was a loser in all three games.
AR played in the singles, doubles and beer round, a player we know to be excellent and did not put two darts in the same bed and upon scoring one sixty only across three games made a formal apology to his opponent when he shot the sixty and this in clear and full view of my team. He was a loser in all three games. My players were very disgruntled and wanted me to do something. I advised them we needed more.
Towards the end of the evening and in full view of and the hearing of my team I spoke to the Thai lady who is the accredited owner of the bar and who had served us all night from behind the bar. She sometimes plays for their team and attends most of their matches home and away. She speaks good English and her understanding of the English language is excellent for a Thai person. I said to her ‘boat’ plays for both buffalo jacks and the nervous wreck. She said yes. I said ‘boat played for both buffalo jacks and the nervous wreck last season. She said ‘yes’ I asked is he going to play for both buffalo jacks and nervous wreck this season. She said ‘yes is that a problem.’
I was forcefully and formally advised by team to make a formal complaint and two team members of the team required also that I make a formal request for the result of the game to be decided by only the players belonging to each team. The result therefore would be 5/4 to Don’t Tell Mama.
I trust that assists everybody to understand the background to this complaint and my role as CAPTAIN in it.
Sincerely,
Jim Lane Captain Don’t Tell Mama

Thursday Leagues
Rules
Fees for the season are ฿1000 per team, payable in full on the previous seasons ‘End Of Season Party’ night, in exchange for the ‘Party Pack’ (There are always teams waiting to join this league so don’t lose your place as the first game is the week after the party and the fixtures need to be arranged!), this fee is used to pay for ‘Party Packs’, ‘Trophies’ and the ‘End Of Season Party’ together with some league incidentals (A balance sheet will be placed in your next ‘Party Pack’ for the previous season). Pattaya Darts does not make any deductions from this for administration of the league or the web site.
Towards the end of the season, a meeting will be held to discuss the following season, the venue and date for this will be posted on www.PattayaDarts.com
All home bars in the league must provide food to the away teams as per the vote at the meeting (15/11/12), (this can be put to vote again to change, at the next meeting prior to the start of next season). There is now, no minimum spend on food however, it will obviously be noted!
The ‘Knockout Cup’ this season. As per the vote at the meeting (14/12/11), it will be played during the season between both Division 1 and Division 2 teams together, due to the nature of the knockout, all team venues, matches and results will be posted on www.PattayaDarts.com under a separate league called; Thursday Knockout Cup, similar to the current Thursday leagues. All matches will be played on the same Thursday night throughout the season and the fixtures will not coincide with other matches in the two leagues. Fixtures will be drawn from a hat and as per the vote at the meeting (31/05/12) losing teams will have games arranged by Paul on the ‘Knockout Cup’ night to make sure Players play.
The format for this Knockout Cup will be exactly the same as the normal division games but add the words; ‘KNOCKOUT CUP’ to the results sheet or, use the sheets provided in your ‘party pack’ or, download the results sheet from www.PattayaDarts.com. There will now be two games in each qualifier to make sure that every bar gets a home game. ‘Beer Legs’ in the Knockout Cup do not count in the normal division leagues. The rules for the Knockout Cup are exactly the same as the league rules regarding players moving bars!
All games to start at 8.30pm, If any team is going to be late, call the bar you are playing and let them know of your late arrival. If either team has not arrived to play by 9:00pm, the team present can claim the match 4 – 0 or 0 – 4, together with the ‘Beer Leg’. It is the team Captain’s responsibility to check the www.PattayaDarts.com website for any updates or bar closures etc..
If a team cannot make any game, call the bar venue, giving them at least 24 hours notice for any cancellation, otherwise, a ฿1,000 penalty will occur for the ‘cancelling’ bar to cover loss of business. It is the responsibility of the ‘non-cancelling’ bar to pay the ฿1000 to Paul, failure to pay this ‘fine’ within two weeks of the cancellation, will result in the ‘cancelling’ team being removed from the league. Please also let Paul@PattayaDarts.com know the situation or, the match might be considered as ‘late’!
Any game postponed, must be played within two weeks of the original match date, failure to do so will result in the ‘cancelling’ team forfeiting the match 4 – 0 or 0 – 4 and losing the ‘Beer Leg’. Please let Paul@PattayaDarts.com know the situation. Any game cancelled (i.e. not postponed), will result in the ‘cancelling’ team forfeiting the match 4 – 0 or 0 – 4 and losing the ‘Beer Leg’. Three cancelled matches within the season will result in the ‘cancelling’ team being removed from the league.
If your team goes to an away venue with i.e. 9 players and the home team only have for example 5 players then you can give the other team 2 players to make 7 a side (or vice versa). A maximum of eight players can play on each team when a team is ‘giving’. The players being ‘given’ are to be decided by the ‘giving’ Captain. It is not compulsory to ‘give’ players to the other team, it is an optional decision to give everyone who has turned up for a game, a chance to play but it is compulsory to accept Players.
Teams must consist of a minimum of four players. There is no maximum limit to the amount of players playing on any one night. If a player or players decide to leave a team, they cannot play for another team in the leagues for two full weeks from their last game with the original team. Upon leaving a team, the player or players cannot return to that team for the rest of the current season. Breaking this rule will result in the team playing the illegal player losing the match 4 – 0 or 0 – 4 and losing the ‘Beer Leg’.
Players must be registered on the back of the Score Sheet for their game / games to count ie: Players not registered, do not score. If a Player is not registered to a team then they must be registered, before playing. Registration only needs to be done once per Season for each new Player in each Team.
Electronic ‘scoreboards’ can be used but it must be agreed by both team Captain’s prior to commencement of the match. The scoreboard is the sole responsibility of the home team and as such, any mistakes entered that cannot be rectified will result in the home team forfeiting the game. Scoring must be entered slowly to allow everyone time to see the entered score. If mistakes happen on three separate games during the match, the home team must revert to using either the whiteboard or blackboard system.
The match games consist of Singles (501); Doubles (701); and if applicable Triples (801) and then the ‘Beer Leg’ (1001). All games are played in the format of straight in and ends with a ‘Double’. Only players entered into the ‘Singles’ draw at 8:30pm are eligible to play in the ‘Beer Leg’ The ‘Beer Leg’ players are taken in the exact same order as the singles matches. Any Player can play in the ‘Beer Leg’ providing that, there are only the same number of players as entered in the Singles games.
All games start with the home team going first for the ‘Bullseye’ and the first player named in either the ‘Doubles’ or ‘Triples’ game always goes for the ‘Bullseye’, a player must continue throwing until a scoring dart is in the board, if a ‘Bullseye’ or a ’25′ is hit then, the dart is removed to give a clear shot for the next player. Nearest the ‘Bullseye’ counts to start the game, if the decision is too close for the Referee / Scorer to decide the outcome then, the process is repeated alternately until a decision can be reached by them.
Remember to fill in all relevant and applicable sections on the result sheet and only use the sheet provided in your ‘Welcome Pack’ or from the ‘Downloads’ section of www.PattayaDarts.com. Both team Captain’s must sign the result sheet and it must also be dated for it to count. Only the figures entered on the sheet will count, i.e. miss a 180 off of the sheet and it will not count for a medal at the end of season, regardless who saw it!
It is the sole responsibility of the ‘winning team’ to hand in the result sheet at the specified bars or by scanned email. Put your results into the locked boxes provided at the Rising Sun or Mai’s Bar, before 8:00pm on the following Saturday night where you must sign and date the sheet there to show that you have handed it in or, you can scan and email your result sheet directly to Results-Thursday@PattayaDarts.com Only a scanned result sheet will be accepted, it is not acceptable to give in results by either phone, chat, email or text, it is the sheet we need.
If a Result sheet is not handed in by the specified time, it will be considered as ‘late’ and as such will appear on the ‘Late List’ at www.PattayaDarts.com with a countdown timer attached to it for a further seven days from the due date, where it will remain to indicate if the match has been forfeited or not. Failure to hand in a sheet in by this time will result in the ‘winning team’ losing 4 – 0 or 0 – 4 and losing the ‘Beer Leg’.
At the end of the season the two teams from the bottom of Division 1 will go into Division 2 for the next season and the two top teams from Division 2 will go into Division 1 for the next season.
Awards and Trophies will be awarded for the following; ’1st Place’ trophies and ‘Runners Up’ trophies for both Division 1 and Division 2, ‘Winners’ trophy ‘for the Knockout League, ‘Beer Leg’ shields for both Division 1 and Division 2 (returned after each season), ’180 Medals’ for all ’180′s’ during the season,
There will be an ‘End Of Season’ party, normally held two weeks before the last scheduled game as per the vote at the meeting (31/05/12), venues and dates for this will be posted on www.PattayaDarts.com
All forfeits are final and will not be corrected at a later date, all decisions by The Committee are final. The Committee consists of Paul@PattayaDarts.com and Lance@PattayaDarts.com as per the vote at the meeting (14/12/11).
If any team has a problem or issue with another team, please contact Admin@PattayaDarts.com with the complaint or complaint’s and we will speak to both parties to assist in any reconciliation
